Run by local businesses for local businesses the Tunbridge Wells Safe Town Partnership is a group with the stated aims of combating crime, anti-social behaviour and nuisance connected to member businesses.
The Partnership is run by a Board of Management, who are volunteers taken from the membership and who have the responsibility to make all the decisions concerning the partnership.

The partnership is split into two parts. Safe Town deals with the retail sector, with some associated members. Pubwatch has the night time economy premises, such as the pubs and clubs. There are a couple of premises who are members of both as they operate across both sectors.
The two schemes are run by the Business Crime Manager, whose responsibilities are to liaise closely with the members, relevant partner agencies, update the website and deal with the day to day running of the partnership.
